Welcome to Water wings swim school Ltd

Water Wings Swim School is a private swimming pool in Bridgend Industrial Estate (18meters x 6 meters). It is primarily for swimming tuition, though we do offer lots more activities for babies, children and adults. Water Wings was established in 2012 by director; Alexandra Francis. After comitting many years to the sport with great passion and enjoyment, a high level of award had been achieved, the next step was to pass this knowledge and expertise on to others. Water Wings consists of an experienced, comitted and passionate team of ASA qualified swimming teachers and lifeguards that will go the extra mile to ensure that not only all learners reach their potential in swimming but to meet the requirements of parents in the way of face to face contact and feedback of progress throughout the learning process. 

The structure we have chosen to follow is National Plan for Teaching Swimming (2007). This is the national syllabus produced by the ASA to assist and support the delivery of swimming lessons. It is the most successful sports programme of it's kind and the syllabus is currently being implemented in over 1,000 swimming programmes nationwide as well as being adopted overseas as a model of good practice. 

The foundations laid out by Water Wings include excellent communication, personal rapport with children and parents, dedication to the work and consistency in teachers. Children that enrol with Water Wings are likely to be taught by the same teacher throughout the process of the ASA swimming stages which enables the children to learn quicker having great enjoyement and a level of trust with one teacher. 

At Water Wings we understand the importance of learning to swim so we do not take this responsibility lightly. All teachers are experienced in pitching the delivery of swimming lessons at levels that best suit the children as individuals, everyone is guaranteed fun at Water Wings.
