Rookie lifesaving course

This is a swimming session for all children that have completed the ASA swimming stages. It is a criteria in line with the ASA Swim Challenge; Bronze, Silver, Gold and Honours. In this session children will practice swimming speed and distance to meet the times set out in each challenge. There will also be lifesaving aspects the children will need to learn to pass each stage, for example; rescuing a non-swimmer with or without buoyancy aids and retrieving submerged objects. This is a good opportunity for children that want to progress on to lifesaving competitions or qualifications.

Monday: 7:30 - 8:15pm

Tuesday: 7-7:45pm

Session Duration: 45 minutes per week.

Session Cost: £50 for 5 week course (1 session per week).
